When Lily, a sweet Chihuahua, arrived at our SNAP clinic, our team quickly noticed something was wrong. She was suffering from a severe flea infestation that was causing her discomfort and compromising her health.
Before Lily left the clinic, our team stepped in. She was given a much-needed bath to remove the fleas and was prescribed medication to help protect her from another infestation.
But Lily’s story doesn’t end there.
She’s scheduled to return next month for her spay surgery, taking another important step toward a healthier future and helping prevent unwanted litters.
Lily is a reminder that spay/neuter clinics can be so much more than surgery. We meet animals where they are and provide the care they need.
During the Big Give, your support helps make stories like Lily’s possible — providing accessible veterinary care for pets whose families may otherwise struggle to afford it.
Big Change starts with Spay/Neuter. And sometimes, it starts with something as simple as a bath, a little medicine, and a team that cares.
