Near the end of the day at our Ingram Road clinic in San Antonio, a team member walked to her car and discovered two cats tucked inside a backpack and left beside her vehicle.
SNAP is not a rescue or an animal shelter. We are a spay/neuter and veterinary clinic. But when these cats were dumped at our clinic, our team couldn’t simply leave them behind.
We brought them inside, cared for them, and worked to find them safe, loving homes. The team named them Archie and Gilbert. Thankfully, both were recently adopted.
Their story is a reminder that animals sometimes arrive at our doors in ways we never expect. While finding homes for abandoned animals isn’t our mission, our team goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure animals put in danger receive the aid they need.
That’s why your support during the Big Give matters. Your generosity helps us continue our mission of providing accessible veterinary care and preventing the cycle of unwanted litters — so fewer animals face abandonment in the first place.
Big Change starts with Spay/Neuter.
And with your support, we can keep helping the animals who need us most.
