Meet Chewy

Thanks to our supporters, approximately 30,000 unwanted births are prevented each year at the Spay-Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP). Leading the field in competent, compassionate, veterinary care since 1994, SNAP continues to improve the lives of the people and pets of our community through accessible and affordable spay/neuter and veterinary care. On December 3rd for Giving Tuesday, partner up with us to save lives. Consider giving other dogs and cats the chance to live litter-free, healthy lives. Your donation to our #GivingTuesday fundraiser will help SNAP expand our capacity to help more people and pets who need our services—like Scott and Chewy (read on).

MEET CHEWY

Chewy and his human, Scott, are family. Recently, they attended one of our weekend community events seeking assistance to have Chewy vaccinated and neutered. Scott conveyed that about a month ago, he heard crying at a construction site and found Chewy scared, hungry, and malnourished among the bushes. Scott was once homeless but now has housing which he shares with Chewy. They have bonded beautifully; Scott claims they rescued each other. An appointment has been scheduled for this month when Chewy will come to our SNAP clinic for his neuter surgery, eliminating his risk of developing testicular cancer (among other health benefits). And he will never contribute to animal overpopulation and suffering.

Please consider partnering with us this #GivingTuesday. Your support makes it possible to help more people and pets like Chewy and Scott. Your support means we can continue to help create stronger bonds between humans and our animal companions. Your support helps us empower our community to learn about keeping our pets healthy and happy. https://www.snapus.org/partnerup2savelives/
